Ingredients
- ½ cup Red Lentil
- 5-6 Tomatoes
- 6-7 Garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt (as per taste)
- 1 tsp cumin powder
Procedure:-
- Rinse the red lentil with cold water and drain. Combine the lentils and 1 tsp salt in saucepan or pressure cooker. Add enough water to cover by 4 inches and cook on medium flame. Reduce the heat until the lentils are tender and falling apart
- Take a baking tray and add chopped tomatoes, garlic cloves, a dash of olive oil, salt and cumin powder to taste.
- Now simply bake it for 10-15 minutes at 180°C or until they are soft.
- Add your softened tomatoes and garlic to a blender with the boiled lentil.
- Blend it to the level of consistency you love and transfer the dip to a bowl.
- Drizzle some olive oil on top for a beautiful presentation and garnish with coriander and pumpkin seeds.
